THE ONE-HALF GOSPEL

There is much Biblical truth being preached today.  It’s good but what I would have to call the one-half gospel.  The errors and false teachings of other religions are not mentioned.

I think there is one more thing that should be emphasized, which is also purposely overlooked.  Fundamentalist Christianity is often accused of being too narrow.  Somehow the fact overlooked is that Christianity is not the only religion that is so narrow.  So are all other religions.  Islam teaches that they will conquer the world, killing or making slaves of anyone who resists.  Remember the man in Afghanistan who had to flee to Italy because he converted to Christianity?  Mormons, SDAs, Jehovah Witnesses all insist theirs is the only way to heaven.  Even the loving Hindus kill if they are not held in check.  The Catholic Church has never rescinded the anathemas against the Protestants.  But let any religion, other than evangelical Christianity hold firmly to their convictions and what is the reaction?  “Isn’t that sweet? you really have to admire them for their convictions.” They hate the evangelical for exactly the same reason.
